Our very own, Joy Rappo has been awarded the regional South Western Sydney/ Macarthur Volunteer of the Year and subsequently went on to become the State Senior Volunteer of the Year 2022.

For those of us working within the organisation, this is a true and well deserved honour, for a wonderful lady, who has dedicated a considerable amount of time, energy and resources to the success of The Compassionate Friends in NSW.

Joy is often the first point of contact for newly bereaved families - and always offers a compassionate, understanding manner to those suffering in this brutally raw stage of grief.
